Mary traveled from childhood with Mississippi sharecroppers to a career as CEO of the first – and largest – African-American woman-owned full-service security services firm in the United States. Under her guidance, ALL N ONE Security grew from 1 to 800 employees, with a client list ranging from the Obamas to the Superbowl, and Atlanta Hartsfield International Airport to the NBA!
Today, 30 years later, her faith fuels her passion for giving back through The Mary Parker Foundation and a multi-tiered approach to philanthropy; investing in under-resourced people and places to foster prosperity and wellbeing, empowering people, and building community through her programs, while forging meaningful alliances to advance our work together.
Defining success by her ability to give back, Ms. Parker authored The Chick in Charge: Life Lessons, Business Principles, & Inspirational Tools for Optimum Success. The book is a must-read for female entrepreneurs ready to drive their business forward. A sought-after speaker for international women’s conferences and leadership development training, Ms. Parker centers her talks around how to Focus, Analyze, Commit, and Strategize. An entrepreneurial expert, she shares expert advice and lessons learned from navigating male-dominated industries. Her talks inspire audiences to lead with faith without fear and motivate them to tackle any and every challenge.
Ms. Parker’s myriad of honors includes the National Minority Supplier Development Council – Class 2 Award; The Phoenix Award; the State of Mississippi’s Entrepreneurship Award; Trumpet Award for Business; the National Women Business Enterprise STAR Award; Black Enterprise Outstanding Achievement as One of America’s Leading Small Businesses; and she has also been honored as one of the Atlanta Business League’s 100 Women of Influence.
